This is supposed to be my outfit for day three of the color wheel challenge: pink. But here's the thing - I really don't like pink. Maybe it's a hold over from my tomboy days of childhood, who knows. Either way, the only pink things I own are a frilly dress and this shirt. I swear that this shirt really is pale pink and not white. Just trust me, mkay?
Somewhere I have a bright pink tshirt that was one of my first attempts at freezer paper stenciling that reads "chemists do it with models." Love it! I really wanted to wear that today but couldn't find it anywhere. I am hoping it's at my mom's house in Colorado and not at a thrift store somewhere...
Yep, I'm wearing the loafers again. And by "wearing" I mean I put them on, took these pictures, and then hobbled home in pain and changed into my trusty moccasins. Ugh blisters you suck. I have a perverse wish that if I wear them enough I will just get callouses and then they won't hurt anymore. Mmmm attractive.
Let your feet heal completely, then wear them again. But don't try to wear them when you still have active hot spots--they'll just get worse!

So here's why I'm going a weird way around the color wheel: I don't own anything yellow. Not even anything mustard colored. I've been wanting a mustard cardigan like this one, but haven't been able to find it. And I understand your dislike of pink—it took me a while to get past that, haha. And now I have so much of it I'm doing different shades, lolz.

ReplyDeleteI didn't own anything yellow, and then last month I bought this cardigan and another yellow shirt. Weird. Maybe it was premonition for this challenge? Haha. I got this cardigan at Target...they have the BEST selection of long, comfy cardigans in a whole bunch of colors.
